The famous Toile de Jouy from the Maison Thevenon "Histoire d’eau" exists in two versions which gave rise to different and specific technical adjustments for the best print rendering. The oldest version is characterized by a mono-color aspect (bordeaux, blue or yellow) on a light background where skillful crossed hatches, superimposed, light or supported, define gradients in the color. The latest version offers a simplified design in terms of shades and a contrasting colored background allowing the use of tonic nuances, amazing, renewable to your heart’s content.
